Cape Cod Wedding Ideas
The Overbrook House in Buzzard’s Bay is a great venue for a wedding celebration. The house is a 1920′s charming 8-bedroom farmhouse with 60-foot swimming pool and 24′x50′ dance hall. Sunny and spacious, with lawns, playing fields, 22 acres of surrounding woods, and a neighboring organic farm.
Overbrook house has been the site of many wedding ceremonies and special family events for over 20 years.
Whether you want a small intimate gathering or a larger party, they can accommodate up to 200 people. A great feature of the property is the hardwood floor dance hall used for reception music and dancing. The property includes several locations for your ceremony and also offers unique housing for your guests.
In addition to the 8 bedroom house at Overbrook, they also offer a 3 bedroom country cottage built in 1916, and a rustic cabin that sleeps five.
Rental of Overbrook house is by the week and includes use of the pool, dance hall, and wedding sites on the property. All other arrangements are made by the wedding party.
Smoke and Pickles
We’ve worked with a lot of caterers, and these guys are our hands-down favorites. Appetizers through deserts are all top notch. Artisan breads with dill spread, broiled scallops, gourmet cheeses and the pickles are to die for. Entrees from the smoker will blow your mind. Do yourself a favor and get in touch with them. Also, we need to state in the interest of full-disclosure, that Chris plays fiddle with Magnolia Cajun Band and always makes sure the band is well fed
