Join us at the Hyatt in Boston this Valentine’s Day and meet New England’s finest eco-conscious wedding vendors. These are folks that can help you plan, organize, and green-up your big day… and your new life together. The Goodtime Stringband will be appearing as special guests, and will be providing our special blend of fun music for the crowd.

Couples can attend educational seminars, book signings, and tastings, tour the green Hyatt Harborside with the Hyatt staff, talk to and buy directly from green designers and exhibitors, see the up close informal fashion show throughout the day. It will be a fun day for sure!

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Camp Kiwanee in Hanson, MA is a former scout camp that has been converted into a state park. The grounds and lake are beautiful – and the Pine Lodge is a very interesting centerpiece to this property.  Built in the early 1800’s as a former vacation home, the lodge been converted into a wonderful function hall with a look all its own.

Many of the friends and family gathered for the celebration were unfamiliar with bluegrass and classic country music, but after getting the “dance machine” started with Hava Nagila / The Horah, the crowd danced the afternoon away!

The ceremony was held on the porch that overlooks the lake (pictured above). Congrats to Joe and Amanda and we wish you all the best!

The event will occur this Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) from 9am-6pm. The Goodtime Stringband will be providing fun live music from noon-3pm on Monday.

There will be Face Painting, Pony Rides, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides
and Nature Talks. Not to mention Raven Hill Orchard Treats! Including pumpkin chip cookies, whoopie pies, smoothies, Raven Hill Freshly Roasted Coffee, frozen lattes, hot dogs, cider donuts and apple cider (hot or cold)!

The Orchard is 35 Minutes from Portland and Kennebunkport in a beautiful country setting. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and have a picnic among the blossoms!
