Bluegrass Wedding at Camp Kiwanee!

We had the good fortune of performing at the wedding celebration of Joe and Amanda last weekend at a pretty cool place.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Camp Kiwanee in Hanson, MA is a former scout camp that has been converted into a state park. The grounds and lake are beautiful – and the Pine Lodge is a very interesting centerpiece to this property. Built in the early 1800′s as a former vacation home, the lodge been converted into a wonderful function hall with a look all its own.
Many of the friends and family gathered for the celebration were unfamiliar with bluegrass and classic country music, but after getting the “dance machine” started with Hava Nagila / The Horah, the crowd danced the afternoon away!
The ceremony was held on the porch that overlooks the lake (pictured above). Congrats to Joe and Amanda and we wish you all the best!
